Your Comments: I did not know this was happening in China. What confuses me is that, during the 1990's, the Chinese Government supported Falun Gong, lulling citizens into a false sense of safety. Now, they're suddenly reversing their position and executing their own people. It's senseless and horrible. I feel it is the U.N.'s duty to stop this. I have lost much hope in the U.N. in the last decade - as they don't do much anymore - but I hope that with our involvement, they will pay attention to this issue and work to end it.

Your Comments: As a Christian in the US, it pains me to hear of this draconian oppression of freedom of religion that China has continued to perpetrate. It's been happening to Christians for decades and is now extended to other groups like the Falun Gong. I hope and pray God will deal with the Chinese government. Meanwhile, I hope the democratic movements in China will not be completely squelched.

Your Comments:
God will exact a just punishment
against the forces of evil and self-
service. In the meantime, the
United States and other nations, out
of an ambition to guard the rights
of humankind, need to confront the
Chinese government on this issue
by withholding current trade and
other privileges until the inhuman
treatment of peaceful worshippers
ceases.

Your Comments: It is difficult for the great countries to take action against atrocities in China right now.
Remember how internationally denounced they have been for subduing similar inhuman regimes such as in Serbia and now Iraq.
Also remember how disunified they have been among themselves and ready to pursue personal interests in the detriment of the common ideal.
May GOD counsel our leaders and let us pray together for them!

Your Comments: Every citizen of the world, no matter what his nationality, must condemn torture and abuse of human rights wherever it occurs, but particularly that perpetrated or condoned by a state authority: that is, if he cares more for his integrity and for the dignity of other humans than he cares for money and power.

Your Comments: I am appalled, though not surprised, that such crimes are being committed by yet another brutal government regimine. Such crimes are being committed all over the world. However, I do believe these member nations who gather to speak so lengthly in conference and committee are absolutely amoral when it comes to addressing these issues with insight, determination, truth and proper action. We, the people in every nation, should demand the creation of a new paradigm to address world issues, human issues and I think this can only happen if we learn to stand against blatant wrongs, in the world, without equivocating, wherever they occur.

From: United Kingdom, Signed at: 2006-05-29 06:07
Your Comments: The Chinese Government needs to be internationally condemned and shamed into taking positive action to end the torture and detainment of Falun Gong followers. As a potential world superpower, China should be impressing the world not only economically but also as a beacon of light in the realm of human rights particularly if its government continues to insist on holding onto its communist values. With one of the largest populations in the world, there should be enough Chinese people ready to stand up and fight back against the oppresive and authoritarian behaviour of its security forces. Domestically and internationally, all those who are against such crimes as those committed on Falun Gong practioners, stand up and decrie this barbarous and mediaeval torture of innocent lives.

Your Comments: The world turns a blind eye to these attrocities when money is all that matters. Chinas president should not be received in any country nevertheless he is...if the inhumanity of man is visible in these pictures imagine what the exclusion and persecution of the orphans of these practitioners must be like, just read about a 9 year old orphelin, raped and terrorized by 3 men every night in a hospital to the point where she could not stand let alone walk. What wrong have they done? This persecution has been going on for 7- 8 years incredible the whole world cannot unite and force these criminals to stop, beginning with the president who allows and denies any wrong doing. We should all wake up and create a force able to stop this.

Your Comments: THIS IS DISGUSTING BEYOND BELIEF!!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with the human race?????? I think every country should refuse to do any trade at all with China until they stop their murder of innocent people. What possible purpose are they achieving other than creating a direct route to HELL for themselves? I certainly hope they burn there a very long time and maybe they will have the pleasure of experiencing some torture too.
