Mr. Wang Enchang, male, 65 years old, resident of Liaoning Province. On June 3, 2001, Mr. Wang was detained in the Men’s team at the Dalian Labor Camp because he is a Falun Gong practitioner. To force him to renounce Falun Gong, team leader Wang Qi brutally tortured him. Wang Qi beat Mr. Wang with electric and rubber batons. Then he ordered two inmates to hit Mr. Wang's lower legs and knees with metal folding stools. Mr. Wang fell to the ground due to the unbearable pain. Then Wang Qi ordered them to hit his shoulders and back with wooden boards and rubber batons. He even stepped heavily on Mr. Wang's genitals for over 10 minutes. He also tied a water bottle to his genitals to torture him. After the torture, Mr. Wang was severely injured. He was always in severe pain in his groin and back, and he had to get up more than ten times at night to urinate.

During the following four consecutive days, the inmates took turns torturing Mr. Wang. Each time, two inmates beat him. When Mr. Wang lost consciousness, they handcuffed him, and then dragged him around. Due to the beating, Mr. Wang’s hips and legs turned dark purple.
