Description:

 

Mr. Liu Junhua was sentenced to two years of re-education through forced labor for his belief in Falun Gong, and upon no criminal grounds. He was interned at the Jiamusi Labor Camp until mid-2000. At the end of October 2001, he was arrested in Mishan City and released after he went on 44 days of hunger strike. During the large-scale raid on the night of April 9, 2002, Nanwei police abducted him from his home and put him into Nanwei Detention Center. Now he is imprisoned in Xigemu Forced Labor Camp and has been on a hunger strike for 47 days. His wife was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution from local police.
