Li Ling Kidnapped by Police after Release from Jail

Description:

 

In late 1999, Ms. Li Ling was arrested, tortured, and sentenced to 1.5 years in jail for appealing to the government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. During her detention in Dabei Prison , Ms. Li was brutally tortured and forced to take medication that damages the central nervous system. After her release, Ms. Li suffered from a mental aberration for a short time. On the night of May 28, 2002, she was kidnapped from her home by the Police and detained again. As of June 10, she had been on a hunger strike for 13 days and is in a very critical situation.
