Ms. Sui Songjiao, An Elder Practitioner, Tortured to Death in a Brainwashing Center

At the end of 2002, Ms. Sui Songjiao, female, 57, a farmer in Lijia Village, Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province was sent to the Linglong Brainwashing Center in Zhaoyuan City because she practiced Falun Gong. During her detention, three guards, Lin Tao, Song Shuqin, and Liu Yujiu, threatened to send her to a labor camp and to punish her family members. For over 20 days, they deprived her of sleep. They forced her to stay in a bathroom without any warm clothing, although all of the windows were open, and the temperature was below zero. Liu Yujiu, Liu Jincai, Liu Cuihua, Lin Shuxi, Yu Yingbin, and Sun Yanqin took turns monitoring her day and night. Whenever she closed her eyes to rest, they beat her. They also wrote down some words to slander Falun Gong, and then forced Ms. Sui to read those words. When she refused to do what they demanded, they used every means at their disposal to torture her. They beat her, and grabbed her hair and banged her head hard against the wall. There were injuries all over her body. Her head was badly swollen, and her face was deformed beyond recognition. In addition to the physical pain, she also endured great mental pressure. The brainwashing center extorted 2500 Yuan from Ms. Sui's family, and caused her family to live in terror, which pained her heart dearly.
