Description:

On April 27, 2002, six police officers from the “610 Office”, among them Yu Zhenggao, Wang Yingjie and others kidnapped Mr. Yang Fengbin and held him in a detention center because he talks about Falun Gong with others. In the detention center, Mr. Yang was brutally tortured, and was later sent to Haiyang Hospital for emergency treatment. During his hospitalization, the police tried to extort money from Mr. Yang’s wife who sternly refused and said, “He was a healthy person, and you beat him until he’s half-dead. You will be held responsible for this!” After being brutally tortured for 26 days, Mr. Yang died on May 23, 2002. His body was covered with wounds and his internal organs were damaged beyond repair.
