A Brief Report:

In the end of September 2001, as Ms. Sun Guilan and 50 other Falun Gong practitioners were having an experience-sharing conference in Caijiapo, Qishan County, Shanxi Province, the police broke into the meeting place, and immediately started to beat and kick the practitioners, twisting arms and grabbing throats. They did not even allow the practitioners to talk or to use the bathroom. Afterwards the practitioners were illegally detained and cruelly tortured. Ms. Sun was put into Baoji City Detention Center where she protested the persecution with a hunger strike. She was force-fed by the military doctors of Baoji City No. 60 Hospital and suffocated to death by the tube being inserted into her trachea.
