Description:

On May 6, 2001, after their ongoing, unsuccessful attempts to coerce Ms. Fan Lihong into renouncing Falun Gong, the Qinghai Province Female Forced Labor Camp imprisoned Ms. Fan in a mental hospital. At the mental hospital, the doctors, and even the policemen and guards force-fed drugs to Ms. Fan. She was forced into the mental hospital several times. Each time she was severely abused, both physically and mentally. After Ms. Fan was released from the mental hospital for the last time, the drugs she was forced to take made her lose her appetite, and she often fell into a lethargic, trance-like state. In December 2001, Ms. Fan was found dead in the Qinghai People's Park.
