Description:

Mr. Zheng Wei, who was handicapped due to a severe hunchback, had been detained at Dalian Labor Camp for reeducation through labor because of his belief in Falun Gong. Despite this disability, the judicial authorities deliberately persecuted him. They tortured Mr. Zheng in the "small cell."   They handcuffed him, shocked him with electric batons, and beat him with police batons in an attempt to force him to give up his belief in Falun Gong. In April 2001, Mr. Zheng died because of the torture.
