Human Rights Group Submits Report on Missing Falun Gong Practitioners to the U.N.

Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group (www.falunhr.org) has submitted a report to the appropriate Special Rapporteurs of the related United Nation's Human Rights Council. The report documents eighteen cases of Falun Gong practitioners who have "disappeared" since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999. The missing practitioners are from Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong and Hunan Provinces, Chongqing City and Beijing City. Their ages are from 27 to 50 years old; among them, 14 are known to be female. They are college students, staff of the Science Institute of China, retired soldiers, workers and minorities.

Since the exposure of the CCP's harvesting organs from detained Falun Gong practitioners in the Sujiatun area, more and more reports have come out revealing criminal cooperation between hospitals, the local army, and the police. Human Right groups and international communities are greatly concerned about what happened to these missing Falun Gong practitioners.

It is the hope of all caring people around the world that the delivery of the report to the United Nations will put the CCP in the hot seat and make the regime explain what happened to those missing practitioners.

Summary of missing practitioners in the reports:

1. Ms. Wu Jing, about 30 years of age, is from Baishanshi in Jilin Province. She was employed at the Baishanshi Tourism Office. The last time she was seen was 8 years ago, around the end of October 1999 at a Beijing railway station.
2. Ms. Lu Jing, 33 years of age, is from Zhang Sheng Village, Xuan Hua County, Zhao Dong City, Heilongjiang Province. She has been missing since the autumn of 2000.
3. Ms. Li Youhua, is from Liaoning Province and was an employee of the 2nd Drilling Company at the Liaohe Oil Field. She was arrested about 3 years ago. Her whereabouts are unknown.
4. Ms. Fu Guiqin, tall and about 40 years of age, lived in the Second Group of Laoshantou, Tangfang Township in Bin County, Heilongjiang Province. She has been missing since 2004. There is no further information about her.
5. Ms. Zhong Shuying and Ms. Zhong Shujun are sisters from Chongqing City. On July 20, 1999, they went to Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. They never returned and have not been heard from since then.
6. Ms. Zhang Chunyan, born on August 16, 1970, is now 37 years old. She is from Yutian County in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. On January 16, 2000, Ms. Zhang Cunyan went to Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong, and has been missing since then.
7. Mr. Li Ruixiang lived in the 10th Block of the Shengou Temple Area in Lishan District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. He left home to avoid being harassed and lost contact with his family. No one has seen or heard from him since the year 2000.
8. Ms. Bing Lianfen, was born on September 16, 1981. In 2003, Ms. Bing Lianfen went to Shouguang City to work. She disappeared in August 2003.
9. Mr. Sun Yu, 27 years of age, was a student from the Dalian Aquatic Products College of Liaoning Province. He was arrested by local policemen when he was passing out materials to expose the persecution of Falun Gong on the campus 5 to 6 years ago. His whereabouts are unknown.
10. Ms. Li Yuping, 53 years of age and about 1.65m (5ft 5in) in height, lived in Taihe Village, Mashan District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. Ms. Li Yuping was forced to leave her home and became homeless about 4 years ago when the police mass-arrested Falun Gong practitioners. She has not been heard from since.
11. Ms. Bao Cuiyuan, in her sixties, worked for the Science Institute of China, Beijing. She had been arrested three times previously. She disappeared in November 2005.
12. Mr. Tang Jian, 28 years of age, of Manchurian ethnicity, is from Shanchengzi (a.k.a. Dadianzi) of Fushun County, Fushun City of Liaoning Province. He disappeared 3 to 4 years ago. His mother, Fengmei, 53 years of age, disappeared 2 to 3 years ago.
13. Ms. Tan Siyin, in her early thirties, is from the No. 3 Section of Changxin Village, Gaolong Township, Chalin County of Hunan Province. She disappeared on January 16, 2002.
14. Ms. Li Weiming, about 34 years of age, is from Jiangjun Village, Tengbie Township of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. She left home in 2001 and has not been heard of since.
15. Mr. Cao Xianlu from Chongqing City is about 50 years of age. He lived in Dapeng Town of Bishan County. His whereabouts have not been known since he was arrested in May 2004.
16. Mr. Tan is from Chongqing City. He was an employee of the Bishan Concrete Factory. His whereabouts have not been known since he was arrested.
17. Mr. Liu Xianchun is over 40 years of age. He is from Luojiapuo, Taolin Village, Yunxi Town, Yunxi District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. In 2000 he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong human rights, he never returned. His whereabouts remain unknown.
18. Ms. Wang Xiuxiang is in her forties. She lived with her husband in Shijiazhuang City. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, her relatives have not been able to establish any contact with her.
