Report of Multiple Missing Falun Gong Practitioners

All of these Falun Gong Practitioners Have Disappeared. Their Family Members Have Not Heard from Them and Have Been Unable to Find Them

1. Ms. Wu Jing missing for 8 years, since October 1999.

Ms. Wu Jing, about 30 years of age, is from Baishanshi in Jilin Province. She was employed at the Baishanshi Tourism Office. The last time she was seen was 8 years ago, around the end of October 1999, at a Beijing railway station. The security police from Baishanshi had been following her. Since her disappearance, her husband married another woman. Her child is still waiting for her to return home.

2. Ms. Lu Jing missing for 7 years, since 2000.

Ms. Lu Jing, 33 years of age, is from Zhang Sheng Village, Xuan Hua County, Zhao Dong City, Heilongjiang Province. She has been missing since the autumn of 2000. Her husband, Wang Zhenglong, has been searching for her ever since.

3. Ms. Li Youhua missing for 3 years, since 2004

Ms. Li Youhua is from Liaoning Province and was an employee of the 2nd Drilling Company at the Liaohe Oil Field. She was illegally arrested about 3 years ago while she was making materials exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in the Panshan area. Her whereabouts are unknown.

4. Ms. Fu Guiqin missing for 3 years, since 2004.

Ms. Fu Guiqin, tall and about 40 years of age, lived in the Second Group of Laoshantou, Tangfang Township in Bin County, Heilongjiang Province. She has been missing since 2004. There is no further information about her.

5. Ms. Zhong Shuying and Ms. Zhong Shujun missing for more than 8 years, since July 20, 1999.

Ms. Zhong Shuying and Ms. Zhong Shujun are sisters from Chongqing City. On July 20, 1999, they went to Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. They never returned. Their family members and their employers went to Beijing to look for them but found no further information about them.

6. Ms. Zhang Chunyan missing for more than 7 years, since January 16, 2000.

Ms. Zhang Chunyan

Ms. Zhang Chunyan, born on August 16, 1970, is now 37 years old. She is from Yutian County in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. She lived in Wangqianjie Village, Yahongqiao Town. On January 16, 2000, Ms. Zhang Cunyan went to Beijing to appeal for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. To date, no one has been able to find out any more information about her.

7. Mr. Li Ruixiang missing for 7 years, since 2000.

Mr. Li Ruixiang lived in the 10th Block of the Shengou Temple Area in Lishan District, Anshan City, Liaoning Province. He was an employee of the steel making station of the Transportation Division of Anshan Iron and Steel Corporation. He was imprisoned in a labor camp for a year because he went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. After he was released, he was forced to attend a brainwashing session and was detained on every holiday. Later, he left home to avoid being harassed. His family lost contact with him. No one has been able to find him since the year 2000.

8. Ms. Bing Lianfen missing for 4 years, since August 2003.

Ms. Bing Lianfen

Ms. Bing Lianfen was born on September 16, 1981. She started practicing Falun Gong in 2000 in Xujiahu Township of Yishui County, Ju County, Shandong Province. In 2001, while on her way to Mengyin County to explain the facts about Falun Gong to people, Ms. Bing was seized and detained at the Ju County 610 Office for 10 days. Police officers from Guozhuang Township who knew about her arrest colluded with the village secretary to move her to the Guozhuang Township Tobacco Center and forced her to do slave labor there for 2 months before releasing her. In 2003, Ms. Bing Lianfen went to Shouguang City to work. She disappeared in August 2003. Since then, no one has been able to find her.

9. Mr. Sun Yu missing for more than 5 years, since 2003

Mr. Sun Yu, 27 years of age, was a student from the Dalian Aquatic Products College of Liaoning Province. Five to six years ago, local policemen arrested him when he was passing out materials on campus to expose the persecution of Falun Gong. His family has not heard from him since.

10. Ms. Li Yuping missing for 4 years, since 2003

Ms. Li Yuping, 53 years of age and about 1.65m (5ft 5in) in height, lived in Taihe Village, Mashan District, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. Ms. Li Yuping was forced to leave her home and became homeless about 4 years ago when the police mass-arrested Falun Gong practitioners. She has not been heard from since.

11. Ms. Bao Cuiyuan missing for 2 years, since November 2005.

Ms. Bao Cuiyuan, in her sixties, worked for the Science Institute of China. She was arrested three times since the start of the persecution in 1999 and released on bail. She disappeared in November 2005.

12. Mr. Tang Jian missing for 3 to 4 years and his mother, Fengmei missing for 2 to 3 years, since sometime between 2002 and 2005

Mr. Tang Jian, 28 years of age, of Manchurian ethnicity, is from Shanchengzi (a.k.a. Dadianzi) of Fushun County, Fushun City of Liaoning Province. He disappeared 3 to 4 years ago. His mother, Fengmei, 53 years of age, disappeared 2 to 3 years ago.

13. Ms. Tan Siyin missing for more than 5 years, since January 16, 2002.

Ms. Tan Siyin, in her early thirties, is from the No. 3 Section of Changxin Village, Gaolong Township, Chalin County of Hunan Province. She disappeared on January 16, 2002. No one has heard any news about her since.

14. Ms. Li Weiming missing for 6 years, since 2001.

Ms. Li Weiming, about 34 years of age, is from Jiangjun Village, Tengbie Township of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. She left home in 2001 and has not been heard from since.

15. Mr. Cao Xianlu missing for 3 years, since May 2004.

Mr. Cao Xianlu from Chongqing City is about 50 years of age. He lived in Dapeng Town of Bishan County. He had been severely tortured at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing City. His whereabouts have not been known since he was arrested in May 2004.

16. Mr. Tan (first name unknown) missing.

Mr. Tan is from Chongqing City. He was an employee of the Bishan Concrete Factory. His whereabouts have not been known since he was arrested.

17. Mr. Liu Xianchun missing for over seven years, since 2000.

Mr. Liu Xianchun is over 40 years of age. He is from Luojiapuo, Taolin Village, Yunxi Town, Yunxi District, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. In 2000 Mr. Liu went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong?s human rights. He never returned. His whereabouts remain unknown.

18. Ms. Wang Xiuxiang missing for 8 years, since 1999.

Ms. Wang Xiuxiang is in her forties. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999, her relatives have lost contact with her.
