Appealing for help

...Early on the morning of October 16, the staff from the Rongcheng "610 Office" and the Chengshanwei Town police arrested Mr. Hu. His ten-year-old son, who had already lost his mother's care, held onto his dad's legs and would not let go. The police grabbed the child and pushed him to the ground. When they took Mr. Hu away, ten-year-old Tianniu, and the parents, in their late 70s, were left at home without care...

Mr. Hu Yongjian and his wife, Ms. Tang Yunli, are from the Sixth Village, Chengshanwei Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. They have a ten-year-old son, Hu Jiewen (nickname Tianniu), and own a store called the "Dexin Shop." They began to practice Falun Gong in 2004. They conducted their business and their lives with the principles Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance in mind at all times. One evening in May 2006, Mr. Hu saw that a young taxi driver from Northeast China was trapped in a car because of an accident. The man had been calling for help for nearly two hours, but everyone hurried by and refused to provide help. Mr. Hu and another Falun Gong practitioner got him out of the car and took him to the hospital.

The Rongcheng City “610 Office” agents, Xing Jianping, Hu Zongwei, and Liu Hongdong, along with Song Haibo, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of Chengshanwei Town, local police officers Wang Hongwei, Yu Jianxiu, the CCP secretary of the Sixth Village, the public security officer Hu Baoyue, and others arrested the couple because they practice Falun Gong. On February 22, 2006, these agents broke into their home and arrested Ms. Tang. They confiscated 3,000 yuan, detained her at the Rongcheng Detention Center and, on March 22, took her to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, Shandong Province.

Early on the morning of October 16, the staff from the Rongcheng "610 Office" and the Chengshanwei Town police arrested Mr. Hu. His ten-year-old son, who had already lost his mother's care, held onto his dad's legs and would not let go. The police grabbed the child and pushed him to the ground. When they took Mr. Hu away, ten-year-old Tianniu, and the parents, in their late 70s, were left at home without care.

When the young man who Mr. Hu had helped after the traffic accident heard of this, he went to the police station to try to appeal. However, the police drove him out of the police station.

Rongcheng policeman Hu Zongwei (Third Village, Chengshanwei Town) and the local public security officer Hu Baoyue (Sixth Village) continue to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners.
