My name is Wang Xinchun, I am a 30-year-old resident of the Fengmao Forestry Center, Jinsantun District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province.

I have practiced Falun Gong since 1998, and my health and mind have improved tremendously since then.

After the central government banned practicing Falun Gong, I was sentenced to forced labor for practicing Falun Gong. After I was released in October 2001, Wang Wei, Chief of the Fenggou Police Station, and policeman Wang Shoumin beat me with an iron baton.

On January 8, 2002, when I was distributing Falun Gong flyers, Wang Wei and fellow policemen attempted to arrest me. I managed to escape. They chased me for several miles. During the escape, I accidentally fell into a frozen river, and my legs were covered with ice. Later, they found me and took me to the Fenggou Police Station. At the police station, one policeman confiscated my personal belongings and interrogated me. Under the orders of Wang Wei and Cui Yuzhong, Director of the Jinsantun Police Station, this policeman forced my frozen feet into hot water (note: thawing feet in this way will greatly increase the severity of frostbite injury). Then this policeman slapped my face and beat me on the chest. My feet and legs were swollen badly and covered with blisters because of the hot water. In the evening, they sent me home. I was unable to walk. To cover up their torture, the local authorities spread the rumor that I had used hot water to melt the ice on my feet, and caused the disability myself. My feet and legs festered and their condition worsened. In November 2002, my feet dropped off because of the festering. I am permanently disabled.

Because I told people how I had become disabled, on November 28, 2003, policeman Wang Shoumin ransacked my home, destroyed my electric devices and then beat my chest and my disabled legs, which caused my unhealed wounds to bleed. They sent people to watch me every day. I was not even allowed to go out to buy my daily necessities.

On May 16, 2004, I managed to go over 10 miles in my wheelchair, telling people the facts of the persecution against Falun Gong. Five policemen arrested me and took me to the police station. To prevent me from exposing the torture, they even confiscated my wheelchair.

On May 18, 2004, when I crawled to the local police office to ask for my wheelchair back, policemen Dong Shuhua and Xue Shenlin beat me with a wooden baton and a spade.

My mother, Wang Guixiang, also a practitioner, was arrested in May 2002, and tortured. She is still being detained in the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center.

My father was interrogated, tortured, and threatened because I exposed the facts about the torture I suffered.

My friends were also beaten and threatened, and have not been allowed to visit me since I became disabled.

In early April, in order to survive, I went to Jinshantun District to learn shoe-repair. The local authorities were afraid that I would expose the torture to the public, so several days later, Xiao Jingyu, head of the 610 Office in the district police station and other policemen, dragged me from the shoe-repair shop, and took me back to the Forestry Center, where Xiao Jingyu beat me on my head, and policeman Wang Shoumin kicked my legs; as a result, my legs were bleeding badly.

That same day, in the afternoon, Gao Qingguo, Wang Shoumin and Da Wei kicked me and dragged me to a detention center, where Yang Changshan, an officer from the detention center beat me with a belt.

I went on a hunger strike in the detention center to protest the persecution. On the fifth day of the hunger strike, the guards dragged me to an office, where guards dragged me onto a big metal rack; Wang Shoumin and Da Wei stretched my arms and legs and buckled them onto hoops on the rack. They could not buckle my legs because I did not have feet, so they used aluminum wire to tie up my thigh on one side and then tie it up to the hoop on the other side. I was tied onto the rack with my arms and legs stretched out in four directions so that I was not able to move. Wang Shomin kicked my head, chest, abdomen and ribs. I sustained a large amount of swelling on my head.

Then, while I was on the rack, I was forcibly injected me with an infusion of seven bottles of an unknown liquid, which caused me to shiver with cold. On the second day, I was force-fed through a tube inserted through my nose into my stomach. I vomited and lost consciousness.

I was tied up on the rack for five days, and was force-fed daily. I was often unconscious, and I nearly died.

On April 19, 2005, I was taken back home. Wang Shoumin beat me in the street. They kicked me in the stomach and chest until I fell to the ground.

On July 1, 2005, while I was kneeling on the side of the street, the head of the Forestry Center, Liu Guangmin, stopped and beat me to the ground.

On July 7, 2005, the second day I went to Jinshantun District to learn shoe-repair, Wang Shoumin, Da Wei and Li Qinglin dragged me to a police car and sent me to a detention center. After the detention center refused me because I was disabled, Wang and the others sent me back home and beat me. They threatened me, saying that they would beat me whenever I showed up in the Jinshantun District.

At around 9 a.m. on October 31, 2005, I was crawling on the road, on my way home. A police car from the Fenggou Police Station suddenly appeared. Chief Min Caichun, Police officers Wang Choumin, and Yang Dawei jumped out of the car and ran towards me. Wang Choumin searched my pockets and found handwritten Falun Dafa materials, so he beat me. My face was swollen and was full of bruises. Another policeman Yang Dawei searched another pocket and stole my watch and all of my money, 184 yuan. I asked Yang to return my money and my watch and, as a result, was cursed at and beaten. Once again, blood flowed from my two injured, disabled legs.
