Mr. Na Zhenxian was a 58-year-old farmer who lived in Zhiye Village, Xiqin Township, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. After July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Gong began, Mr. Na was arrested many times, had several thousand Yuan extorted from him, and was detained in a brainwashing center and in the Shuangcheng City Detention Center for several months.

 On November 4, 1999, policemen from a local police station ransacked his home and took away his Falun Gong materials. They handcuffed him and three fellow practitioners onto the heating pipes in the Station for more than twenty hours, and extorted 1500 Yuan from them. On May 16, 2001, the Shuangcheng City police  detained him for 70 days. and the “610 Office” and the detention center fined him 700 Yuan.

On the evening of February 27, 2004, Pan Chunku and Sun Jinxing of the Township government and local police arrested Mr. Na from his home. They sent him to Shuangcheng City Police Department the next morning at approximately 4:00 a.m., and locked him in the Shuangcheng City Second Detention Center. During detention, Police Station Head Sun Jinxing and his helper Zhang Xiaoyin tried many times to extort more money from his family, but in vain. They then had Mr. Na sentenced to two years of forced labor. Mr. Na was locked in the Fourth Ward of Changlinzi Men's Forced Labor Camp.

On October 11, 2004, the camp administration, education office and management office combined manpower to gather in the Fourth Ward, some carrying electric batons, and some wearing army belts. First, the education office head, Wang Yi'ou, gave a lecture on labor reform in the Fourth Ward. Then prison guard Niu Tiejun forced Falun Gong practitioners to study the labor camp rules. With the excuse of someone not reading loud enough, the inmates dragged Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Yao Shiguo, Mr. Kou Fangqi, Mr. Na Zhenxina and eight other practitioners one by one to prepared rooms. In those rooms, the prison guards incited the inmates to torture the practitioners. Mr. Na has been tortured like this way all the time.

 At 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2005, the Changlinzi Men's Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province notified Mr. Na Zhenxian's family that Mr. Na was very sick, and asked them come to visit him immediately. His family went right away, but when they arrived Mr. Na Zhenxian had already been tortured to death. He had many wounds on his body. His body had apparently been cleaned up, but bloodstains remained on the right corner of his mouth. The family observed a palm-sized bruised area below his armpit on the right chest. Above his waist and also on his chest was another palm-sized bruise. Both legs looked irregular. His nose bone was swollen and distorted. His left eye was cut and bloody and was swollen shut.
