Mr. Sun Biao Missing since October 1999

Victim:

            Mr. Sun Biao, male, was born in 1951. He was an employee of the Huanggang City No. 2 Tap Water Factory, Hubei Province.

Time and location the victim was last seen:

October 1999, in Beijing, China

Brief Description:

Mr. Sun Biao’s job required him to work in the water for a long time. He developed severe schistosomiasis and many other illnesses. The illnesses were so serious that his life was near its end. After he started to practice Falun Gong in 1994, all his illnesses were cured. On July 20, 1999, Mr. Sun went to the Hubei Province government to appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong. He was detained for a few hours. On September 19, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal again. In October 1999, other practitioners who went to Beijing with him lost contact with him. Since then nobody has ever seen him again.

Steps taken to find Mr. Sun Biao:

Mr. Sun’s wife and family memebers tired many ways to find him and also paid the local police 3,000 yuan as a fee for which they allegedly searched for him in Beijing. However, she and her families did not heard anything about him.
