Ms. Ge Peilin, female, 50, was employed of Jianglian Inc. located in Qingyunpu District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. After she practiced Falun Gong, all her illness were gone.
In 1999 Chinese Government started persecuting Falung Gong. The local authorities continuously harassed her and her family, and searched her house, confiscating her personal property, because she practiced Falun Gong.
In 2000, Ms. Ge and her sister went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested and detained. During the detention, Ms. Ge was injected with drugs that damaged her nervous system.
In summer of 2001, Ms. Ge was abducted by the Jingshan Police Station and detained at the Qingyunpu Detention Center. Later she was transferred to the Nanchang City Detention Center for further persecution. In the detention center, the authorities instructed inmates to beat and torture her, and to hit her head against the wall. This brutal torture resulted in her blood pressure rising suddenly to 260. After that, her head often ached and she could not see clearly. Due to the torture, she appeared to have high blood pressure, vomited, her face turned to a purple color, and she had cramps all over her body. She was sent to the Nanchang City Ninth Hospital. Even as she was dying, police still cuffed her hands and shackled her legs while she lost consciousness.
In 2004, Ms. Ge went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong again. She was escorted back and detained in the Qingyunpu District Police Station. She was beaten up until her head was bleeding and she lost consciousness. After that, she could no longer look after her daily needs,
After she was released, the Jingshan Police Station and the security section of Ms. Ge’s work unit continued to repeatedly harass Ms. Ge and her family, and search her house, again confiscating personal property. Even just one month before she died, when she was on the verge of death, the security section of her work unit abducted Ms. Ge in order to interrogate her. They tortured her, and confiscated more items from her house. Tragically, Ms. Ge passed away on January 7, 2005, due to the continuous physical and mental persecution. type=case, death; type=case, women;type=Detention Center,Nanchang City Detention
