...However, six to seven policemen grabbed and twisted her arms and legs. Then, they harshly pushed her into a police vehicle, causing her many injuries. Ms. Pi was later released, but the torture from the police left her with bruises all over her body...

Ms. Pi Yuming, female, 76 years old, resident of Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, mother of Mr. Xie Zhonggui, a Falun Gong practitioner. On July 1, 2005, Mr. Xie went to visit his mother, Ms. Pi. Four policemen from the Yunyan Branch of the Beijing Road Police Station waited for him and arrested him in front of the house because he is a Falun Gong practitioner. Since Mr. Xie refused to renounce Falun Gong, they sent him to the Lannigou Brainwashing Center for forced brainwashing and persecution.

On the same day, when Ms. Pi learned of her son's arrest, she went to the Beijing Road Police Station to reason with the police but did not get any answer. On the afternoon of July 6, 2005, Ms. Pi went to the Yunyan Branch of the Beijing Road Police Station again to tell the police about his son’s innocence. However, six to seven policemen grabbed and twisted her arms and legs. Then, they harshly pushed her into a police vehicle, causing her many injuries. Ms. Pi was later released, but the torture from the police left her with bruises all over her body.
