Description:
In December 2000, Ms. Wang Guizhen went to Beijing to appeal to the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong. At the Tiananmen Square, three policemen hit her on the head with electric batons. They also verbally abused her, pulled her glasses from her face and pulled out her hairs. Later, she was detained at the Huairou County Jail in Beijing. The police force-fed her because she went on a hunger strike to protest the detention. The feeding tube was inserted into her trachea, which almost caused her to die. She was released a week later.
Later, Ms. Wang was arrested again and detained in No. 2 team of No. 2 Division at the Changchun Heizuizi Labor Camp. The guard, Liu Lianying, frequently shocked her with an electric baton. The electric shocks left blisters all over Ms. Wang’s body. There were also numerous cuts on her face and neck.
One time, Chief Liu and guard Yu Bo used electric batons to shock her. In addition, they kicked and punched her, causing severe bruises to her body. The mental and physical torture caused Ms.Wang’s health to deteriorate. She vomited and coughed up blood and was unable to eat any food. As a result, she was force-fed with food and medicines. Later, she was sent to a mental hospital. Currently, nobody knows her whereabouts. |
