I am Yang Ming, a Falun Gong practitioner. Before practicing Falun Gong, I had many serious diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and permanently swollen shoulders. My joints were so deformed and my muscles so withered that I could hardly take care of myself. After practicing Falun Gong all of my sicknesses disappeared, saving me much pain and suffering, as well as lots of money on medical treatment.
In May 2001, I was arrested for putting up posters that read, “Falun Dafa is Good.” I was sent to a forced labor camp, where a policewoman named Han Jianmin locked me in a confinement cell. On January 24, 2001, I was force-fed with unknown drugs through a tube inserted through my nose. After the force-feeding, the nurse left the feeding tube in me and used it to forcefully stab my internal organs. Policewomen Han Jianmin and Wan Yalin incited criminals to beat me with heavy wooden blocks and broom handles. My left foot was swollen, my toe and nails broken, and my socks soaked with blood. Later, I was tied and hung up inside an iron cage in an extremely painful way. I eventually discovered that they were secretly putting blood pressure drugs into my food. I was monitored 24 hours a day and forbidden to wash, sleep, or use the toilet.
The continuous torture was too much and I felt I could bear no more. Sometime between May and June of 2002, I compromised with the police who, feigning kindness, got me to write a statement against my will – a so-called “guarantee to stop practicing Falun Gong.” However, when police officers Yang Shenshen and Liu Yuchan summoned me to their office and ordered me to sign it, my conscience would not let me to do so. I tore the statement apart, because it was written under torture and against my will. Furious, the policemen kicked my legs with leather shoes. One of them grabbed my right hand and repeatedly stabbed a pen into the acupuncture point between my thumb and forefinger until the pen broke. I was pushed into the bathroom and ordered to wash off my blood.
Several days later, a criminal named Li Jin told me I had to go to the room where they monitor Falun Gong practitioners. As I was on my way, she suddenly grabbed my shoulders from behind and held me while another criminal forcefully took my fingerprint.
