Jiang Xiuqin, female, lived in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Her husband was an employee at the Shengli Petroleum Field. Ms. Jiang used to suffer from numerous illnesses, and became very healthy after practicing Falun Gong. After the persecution of Falun Gong started in 1999, the police harassed her husband, who is also a Falun Gong practitioner, and tried to detain him. To avoid being persecuted, her husband became homeless. However, police kept harassing Ms. Jiang and did not allow her to practice Falun Gong. Being under tremendous pressure, Ms. Jiang’s health collapsed in late 2001, and she died.
