A Brief Report of the Incident:

Late in 1999, Falun Gong practitioners Ma Hongtao and Fang Lihong were arrested and detained in Tangjiafang Mental Hospital, Anshan city, Liaoning province because they refused to renounce Falun Gong. They had been detained there for over a year.
