A Brief Report of the Incident:

Falun Gong Practitioners Ms. Jiang Zhaofang, Ms. Li Kangqing, Ms. Zhao Qiaomin and Ms. Lu Baona were sent to the No. 2 Mental Hospital of Xinxiang city, Henan province, because they went to Beijing twice to appeal to end the persecution against Falun Gong and they refused to write statements renouncing Falun Gong. They were forced to receive treatments as mentally ill patients for 1-2 months. When their relatives visited them, they asked the doctor on duty why they treated normal people as mentally ill. The doctor replied: “We don't care about it, as long as they are sent here by the police, we will treat them as patients.” The relatives asked him where was his virtue in being a doctor, and the doctor remained silent.
