Ms. Jin Guirong, female, 58, resident of Jinshitan District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp for practicing Falun Gong. At the end of December 2002, after being detained for more than 10 days in the labor camp, she was taken to a brainwashing center because she still refused to renounce Falun Gong. There the guards instigated the inmates to deprive her of sleep, and to beat, attack, and curse her. Because she insisted on her belief, they locked her inside a one-meter long by one-meter wide iron cage.

Ms. Xu Jinhuan, female, 54, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. Inmates beat her because she sang songs that mentioned Falun Gong. Labor camp guards tied her feet and hands together and hung her up. They then beat her inner thighs with wooden boards, causing her thighs to turn black and blue.

Ms. Wang Lijun, female, 33, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. Because she refused to give up Falun Gong, the guards locked her in an iron cage for more than one month. They rammed brushes used for cleaning shoes into her vagina, causing vaginal bleeding. Guards also broke both her legs.
 
Ms. Wang Xiumei, female, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp for practicing  Falun Gong. Guards beat her because she refused to recite the rules of the labor camp, breaking two of her ribs and knocking out one of her teeth.

Ms. Bi Daihong, female, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp for practicing Falun Gong. Guards beat her upon her arrival at the labor camp. She sustained various injuries from these beatings, including bruises on her nose and eyes, swollen feet, and black and blue marks on her legs. She is now walking with a limp.

Ms. Chang Xuexia, female, 34, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp for practicing Falun Gong. Guards instigated the inmates to lock her in an iron cage and beat her because she refused to give up Falun Gong. Inmates stripped her and tortured her. They placed a basin of water underneath her and forced brushes used for cleaning shoes into her vagina. They did not stop torturing her until her vagina began to bleed, and she lost consciousness from the pain.

Ms. Man Chunrong, female, resident of Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. Guards put hot pepper paste into her vagina because she refused to give up Falun Gong.

Ms. Cheng Hui, female, 27, resident of the Jinzhou District of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. Guards locked her up in an iron cage and hung her from the window bars with her hands handcuffed behind her back and only her toes touching the ground because she refused to give up Falun Gong. Inmates inserted hot pepper paste into her vagina, then took it out and put it into her mouth.

Ms. Qu Sumei, female, resident of Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. She was locked in an iron cage and hung up with her hands and feet tied together because she refused to give up Falun Gong. Meanwhile, inmates inserted dirty rags, hot pepper paste, and other items into her vagina. Because of the torture, she was unable to lie down on a bed for three months.

Ms. Han Shuhua, female, resident of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. She was locked in an iron cage and tortured because she refused to give up Falun Gong. Both her legs were fractured during the severe beatings.

Ms. Sun Yan, female, resident of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been detained at the Dalian Labor Camp because she practices Falun Gong. She was locked in an iron cage and tortured for more than ten days because she said, "Falun Gong is good."
